A Travel Blog of Sorts

This is sort of a test for me to try out using WordPress on my iPad rather than carrying around my MacBook Pro. I usually write my main blog in iWeb and like the software very much. However iWeb is not available for the iPad yet so I thought I’d give WP a spin.

I have a couple of trips coming up and thought that it would be a great way to test this all out by writing and posting while on the trips.

My first trip will be to New York to help jury the Society of Illustrators members exhibition, which I’m extremely honored to have been asked to do. I’ll be taking my son along and can’t wait to show him a pile of my old haunts as well as take him to DC Comics, the Empire State building, etc. Should be a lot of fun.

The second big trip is to Paris and Brussels for the forthcoming solo exhibition of my First World War work. It will be nice to return to both of those beautiful cities and even more enjoyable to visit with the warm and friendly people there.

So I hope to post pictures of the trip as they happen and to keep you updated all along the trips. So stay tuned!
